Coen and Catherine Stork live on the estate year-round, and the château is genuinely their home before it is anything else. Set in formal gardens that open onto the wider grounds, it has been carefully restored to hold both the grandeur of its period and the ease of a house that's actually lived in.
ACCOMMODATION
Guest rooms, each individually decorated and en-suite, blend the character of the house with the comfort expected of a stay at this level. An 18th-century cottage in the grounds, La Grenouillère, offers a further, more private option for up to six.
WINE AND DINE
Coen is a serious collector — his cellar is drawn from regular visits to the Burgundy winemakers, and features on wine lists across France and beyond. Catherine's menu, served in the dining room or on the terraces depending on the season, draws on Burgundy's classic and exceptional cuisine — coq au vin, boeuf bourguignon — alongside her own dishes, using local and seasonal ingredients.
